Marriage Ceremony at St Leonard’s Church, Wollaton
I met up with Adrain and some of the guests in the Admiral Rodney Pub in Wollaton, which is (perhaps conveniently for nervous grooms!) situated right beside St. Leonard’s Church. We then made our way over to church wait for the bridal party to arrive. They did so in style in beautiful vintage cars from Wedding Classics and Nicola’s Dad walked her down the aisle accompanied by beautiful music from the church’s organ and St Leonard’s Choir.
Wedding Reception at The West Mill
After the ceremony and traditional rice throwing (ouch!) we all headed over to The West Mill which is situated on the banks of the River Derwent in Derby. The band: The 45s, kept the guests entertained while Nicola, Adrian and I nipped off to take some ‘couple’ shots; then it was straight back and on with the party!
Thanks so much Nicola and Adrian for your kind words about your photos:
“The photos are fantastic! We absolutely love them ….. thank you so much”
The West Mill Wedding Photographer
IThis was my first time as a wedding photographer at The West Mill which
is a magnificent Grade I Listed former industrial mill dating back to the early 1800’s.
The mill has been restored and converted into a beautiful wedding venue and the building
itself and the surrounding area make beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos.
